Reviews
"I loved the place for 2 reasons. The taste and the ambience. The place feels lively, good for a friend's meet, dine out. Love the pasta, no option in chicken meat so that was a little inconvenient but otherwise the food is brilliant. Ample choice in wines too."
"Honest 'budget' small dishes are the star here, with a nice variety of flavours. The plates are really small, to the point where you could think they were planned to allow you to taste more than one in a single visit. The pasta cooking point is very al dente, true to italian style, which may not be the preferred one for a lot of locals but I thought it suits the proposed approach. We got the arancini for opener, papardelle with ragu and the tagliatelle with prawns for mains and the Pannacotta with sea salt for dessert. All in all, delivers what it promises but not very exciting. The fact the plates came out in less than 5 minutes also invokes the feeling that it's a bit like pasta fast food. Maybe when I'm around and don't have good options I may come back, but it's not a restaurant I'd go out of my way to visit again."
"Food was decent and there was nice options, but the staff really made the experience great!! The staff who served us were so friendly and nice, one of them even ran after us down the street when we accidentally left a bag behind! Only thing was that it was a bit chilly in the room."
"Good restaurant for pasta. The staff are friendly and kind. It's not too expensive. I like the idea of unlimited wine here. I didn't particularly like the taste of pasta at the start but then later I enjoyed it. I felt the pasta was half cooked or something. It's worth checking out this place."
"Nice buzzy spot, the ‘plates’ were a bit meh, but the pasta dishes were delish and great value! So much so that we split a third one, even though we were quite full. The wine is a bit pricey compared to the prices for the pasta, but we had the primitivo and it was good. The wine is from Winelab so comes in unlabelled bottles, see the pic. And if you don’t already know, this place is crazy popular, so you need to book probably a month in advance at least to get a table in the evening at the weekend."
