La Cucina
About the Business
Welcome to La Cucina, located in the heart of Dublin's historic Powerscourt Townhouse Centre. Our restaurant offers a unique blend of contemporary and classic Italian cuisine, all made from the freshest local ingredients.
Our dining room is warm and welcoming, with a rustic elegance that reflects our commitment to quality and authenticity. The centerpiece of our kitchen is our wood-fired pizza oven, which turns out perfectly crispy, thin-crust pizzas that are finished with the best imported and local ingredients.
But pizza is just the beginning of what we offer. From perfectly cooked pasta dishes to fresh seafood and succulent grilled meats, our menu is designed to cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. And our extensive wine list includes bottles from Italy and beyond, carefully curated to complement our dishes.
Whether you're looking for a romantic evening out, a cozy dinner with friends, or a lively gathering with an Italian flair, La Cucina is the perfect spot. Our warm and friendly staff is always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions, and our comfortable space allows you to dine at your own pace and savor every bite.

"First of all i want to say nothing bad about the service staff was very friendly and service very good, but the pizza one of worst i have had i'm italian and love pizza and that was an insult"
"Me and my boyfriend went for dinner here - lovely quiet atmosphere and cosy setting. Lots of choice and really good quality food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, too. Will visit again."
"My boyfriend and I ate here for a birthday weekend before a gig and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. The interior is romantic and really inviting, and the staff, so welcoming and helpful. We shared a large board of delish antipasti to start, accompanied by a decent serving of bread (well done). I had the prawn linguini with nduja butter for the main, and although quite hot, the flavour was serious! Very filling, so maybe don't eat all the bread at the start like I did... Also the cocktails tasted like more so be careful!"
"Had brunch outside, 20euro brunch + cocktail combo was good value - just not tasty. Dry boring eggs came with bacon instead of pork cheek (Giunciale) and the artichokes never arrived. Shame as it's such a great spot when it's sunny. Cocktails were good nonetheless. Go for drinks, not for brunch."
"It's a really good restaurant, I have been there few times for lunch, dinner and brunch.,and always is really good, food is great, service can be bit better, the ambient is really nice"
