"The live band, House Jammerz, were amazing. The musicians were on point and the vocals top drawer. The drinks were great and not overpriced. The number of bar staff was inadequate for the number of customers resulting in too long a wait to be served. The atmosphere was generally very positive with everyone there having a good time. Unfortunately this was tainted by a couple of people spoiling for a fight. The security were slow to respond forcing the band to stop and intervene."

"Went for a Christmas meal early at 6.30. Really great good and service in what felt like a nice cosy venue. The live band starting setting up at 8.45ish and it went downhill from there as the place filled up with absolutely smashed drinkers trying to get in before they charged a fiver on the door. My wife got threatened for asking if someone was waiting at the bar, a bouncer then asked her to go and see if a 14 year old was hiding in the toilets etc etc So, if you go and the music isn't on, fantastic, can't recommend it highly enough. After that well...."
"Attended the open mic night. Always a good atmosphere in any pub when live music's on. Slightly disappointed that you never got a thank-you drink for playing. Other than that, it was a pleasure to catch up with a couple of people and meet new folk."
