"Food was delicious, best lamb karahi, so tender and the butter chicken was lovely too! Would definitely recommend and come back. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for us during iftar"
"My gosh the food here was amazing. The choice is fantastic and the food is some of the best I have had. Can not recommend enough if you are looking for a great Indian. Don't be fooled by the outside in side it is really nice."
"Lovely food with a really nice atmosphere. We couldn't decide on what starters to have so they made us a special selection of 5 starters each which was brilliant. Overall the food was delicious, staff were lovely and I will definitely be returning soon."
"Came on a Thursday evening and had a great meal here. Service was excellent and not rushed, the restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The food was surprising and unlike anything else in the local area, fantastic presentation and new flavours. For starters we had soft shell crab and the king prawns (pictured). The prawns were a highlight of the meal. The mains were both fantastic, perfectly spiced and very rich - so the portion sizes were spot on. The lobster moilee was another highlight, perfectly cooked and the sauce didn't overpower the lobster meat. For dessert we had the Panna Cotta, which tasted good but was a little over set, possibly due to being served in a cocktail glass which exposes a large area to the chiller. Cocktail menu was very good."
"Our experience here on Friday night wasn't the best, although I am thinking it was probably not representative. To maximise the occupancy it appears they have two sittings, one at 6.00pm the other at 8.15pm. Fair enough but this has its problems. The restaurant literally went from empty to almost full in 15 minutes. The wearing of face masks was virtually non existent by staff and customers alike. Our orders were taken promptly but judging by our meals I am of the opinion that the sudden influx put a lot of strain on the kitchen. Shortcuts may have been taken and the quality suffered. It's now the party season, our side of the dining room was extremely loud and the atmosphere was quite raucous - romantic it certainly wasn't. The Bangladeshi come Indian menu promises much however my Kadahi Kurchan's description seemed a little of an exaggeration. Generally I would guess that food is good but the wife's bhuna was too hot for her and also very oily. For some reason the kitchen was unable to add a little bit of spinach to the curry which was a first. Likewise there was no onion salad with the poppadoms. We mentioned our disappointment to the restaurant and to their credit they were very apologetic. Therefore they made a gesture of compensation that roughly equalled the cost of a poppadom! At least the evening finished off with a rather nice panna cotta dessert. It's a nice place and I guess the experience would be a different story on a different night."
