Reviews of Three Fyshes
"The service and food were great. From booking to arriving there. All credit to Sara, who went over and above to accommodate us. Helped by the others who served us. Well done to all!"
"After driving past the Three Fyshes many times we finally opted to date night here. The email confirming our booking was swiftly received and it was great from there on out. Menu (photo'd) was fairly extensive and offered different things to what you would normally expect from this setting For starters I had the Louisiana hot wings and the mrs had the garlic prawns, tasted really nice and was plentiful in the serving. For mains I had the rack of ribs and thr bbq sauce was amazing, you should bottle it and sell it. My partner had chicken millenaise and said it tasted lovely even though it had a slight kick to it (She doesnt do heat) Puds was the sticky toffee pudding again tasted nice and mrs had a brownie again nice. Decor of the pub was nice, a very nice place to be, hosts were attentive, both Sara and the blonde lady. Cost wise was fair for an upper end gastro pub so was more than happy with it. I would recommend it and will go back again soon."
"Beautiful 200yr old pub with friendly staff. Food is lovely, especially the Sunday roast. Good selection of drinks and you can sit inside at a real fire or outside in the courtyard by the river. Decent sized car park next to the pub if you’re driving. Well worth a visit."
"Sadly not great value for money. Had Steak and Ale pie. Pastry lid was obviously cooked separately from meat as just put on top. Tasted OK. Mash had been microwaved as could hear it for most of our 2 hour visit. Great pub and location missing out on better food and value for money. Odd items on menu too stick usual good pub food and you would be filling your tables. Good luck."
"Absolute Gem! What a wonderful country pub in such a beautiful village. After returning from a very special holiday, we wanted to end on a high and head out for Sunday lunch. We decided to try somewhere new and we're so glad we did! Food was absolutely lush, we even ordered a dessert despite not really having room but it was all so delicious. Lovely staff, really welcoming and polite. Clean and COVID sercue with hand sanitiser located at suitable points, and face coverings still being worn by staff. Best of all, dog friendly and with their very own dog bar! All water of cause but love the rebranding of beers. Our pooch really enjoyed her Pawroni ha ha. Looking forward to returning one day."
