"Lovely decor, the staff where so friendly, at night the place is lively and great vibes. The food was a major let down, below average quality which is disappointing. Fish in the tagliatelle was so bad! The dark haired manager made his dissatisfaction with the staff very obvious in front of all the customers, which was very unprofessional but all staff where lovely. Would definitely go back at night for drinks but not food again."
"Had Saturday lunch here. Lovely decor and seating. The food was pretty average. Some stuff a little over cooked eg lasagne, onion rings and some a little under eg naan. Not sure how freshly prepared some stuff was - chicken tasted like it was cooked separately and thrown in. The service was ok. The staff were friendly, but it took about 10 mins to serve all our mains from first to last. Won’t be rushing back."
"This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, I had the Beef and Guinness Stew so delicious and my wife loved it as well, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I will definitely be back many thanks The Palm."
"The staff were nice and the Palm is in a good location. The music being played in the courtyard of the Palm was competing with the band stand across the road, so neither sounded good. Some management of this would have helped with the general atmosphere. The menu is good but unfortunately the food for the price was very poor. We ordered the wings and Nachos. The wings weren't bad but the Nachos were terrible. Cheap nachos, rubber beef, lots of fat in the beef, serious lack of nice sauces and worst of all nasty cheese. The kind of cheese that when cools is still soft and runny. Basically it was cheese from a can. Such a poor experience. Again, nice setting and nice staff. Just very poor food."
