"Stayed at the hotel on Sunday and our deal included the early bird 2 course menu available from 5-7pm. Firstly we were served a bread basket with butter to keep us going until starters were served. We had french onion soup & Dublin bay prawns. Not a big portion of prawns but very tasty. For our mains we had duck breast dish and the salmon dish. Thoroughly enjoyed both. Too full for dessert but those we did see being served looked great. Couldn’t fault the waiting staff. Without the early bird menu the restaurant is a bit on the pricey side but for a special break or occasion I’d highly recommend it. Well done chefs!!"

"Cold vegetables. Soggy chips. Soggy salad. Inedible squid. Badly cooked lamb and steak. Requested coffee never arrived. Very poor performance for what was a very important night."
