"Fabulous night at Gin & Juice. We went for evening plates and local Welsh gins. They have a really impressive, extensive gin menu with a Welsh section. We loved the local Gower gins we tried and the bar staff put a lot of care into making the drinks. The food was the best we had in Mumbles. Great roasted cauliflower, veg burger and super fresh bread, delicious garlic butter and olives. A place not to be missed if in Mumbles! There was a live DJ on the Saturday night we were there and a loud, fun vibe. Loved everything!"
"We visited Mumbles for a few days and G&J was recommended to us by a friend in Swansea. It is pure class. The food, the wine and the service was exceptional. I would go so far as saying that this is the finest bar/ restaurant I have ever been it. The bar is on the top floor of the building and the views of the sea are stunning- even at night. They also have live music on Thursdays. A very special has to go to the staff. They were simply superb. I like my red wine from a fresh bottle as it doesn't taste so good if it's from the day before. Many places refuse this. Not the staff at G&J who were happy to open a new bottle for me- and after the first glass I decided to buy the bottle! I also like a bit of cheese with my wine. There was none on the menu but I asked anyway. Again, many places simply say 'no'- If it's not on the menu there is nothing they can do- even though you know the kitchen will have cheese! Again, this was not the case at the G&J - and the guy at the bar said he would ask the chef to see if he could make something for us. I only expected a little bit of cheese but what they produced was amazing. Three different types of cheese plus olives and fruit- and they only charged £6.50 for it. There was too much for myself and Helen but our friend from Swansea arrived and helped us finish it! Originally, we were only stopping for one drink as our friend was going to show us around the town but as we were having such a great time in such a beautiful place we stayed at G&J all evening- and that was also because of the staff. Whatever money they are on they deserve more! They were all a credit to the bar and the company itself. Hopefully we will be returning to Mumbles at the end of April and we will look forward to an evening or two in the G&J."
"A fantastic location for a bar, perched atop a building overlooking the full panorama of Swansea Bay. Views are stunning. Eclectic furnishing and decor add to a very comfortable atmosphere. It was extremely busy during our visit early on a Saturday night. Dronks were very well presented in attractive glassware. Unfortunately the ambience and location come at a toe curling price. Large violet gin and lemonade and a lager came to £22. Worth popping in for one drink to enjoy the views, but unless you actually live in Mumbles you'll probably want to call in one of the other numerous bars nearby for the second and third. Note there are several flights of stairs to negotiate to reach the bar, but there is a lift on site. Accessible toilet on the same floor as the bar."
"What a spot! An absolute gem that takes you to another world with the best views in the mumbles! Well worth the climb up the stairs. Drinks are delicious and like a show in themselves, appetizers were all tasty, especially croquette, booths like quiet corners where world changing conversations happen and the glass House at the end is breathtaking, light, bright and full of life inside and out. A must visit, and hard to leave without mumbling your way back down the stairs."
"Amazing food and a great view! The menu has a good range of brunch options and the portion sizes are immense. Also opened my eyes to just the sheer amount of gins that exist, and I've been working my way through the Welsh Gins!"
