"I had high hopes for this pub. I'd heard good things from friends and my boyfriend but unfortunately when i visited last weekend, the food was not up to scratch. I had the cod and chips as did my boyfriend. The prices are rather expensive but this is Brighton so i wasn't overly surprised. What did surprise me was the quantity. It was so small! I've never been served such a small portion of fish and chips ever! The taste was ok but nothing special. I feel this place is over-priced for what you get. The atmosphere was nice and the pub itself is pretty, other than that i probably won't return to eat here."
