"We had decided to come to Brighton from Eastbourne for my daughter to do some work on a photography assignment and she had put in a request for pancakes whilst we were there. On walking past the Coppa Club we noticed they did brunch til 4PM including the much sought after short stack! We were shown to a table and given a menu. The place was not very busy at this point. We ordered fairly quickly and two good hot almond milk flat whites and a big OJ turned up very quickly and we spent some time chatting and people watching! However after 30 minutes we were getting very hungry and after 35 minutes, I asked the waiter how much longer the food was likely to be. He apologised and said it was next up. Ten minutes later the manager approached without any prompting by us and apologised profusely and told us we would not have to pay for anything we had ordered! Although we did have a long wait, I thought the fact that he had noticed and immediately offered this gesture of goodwill was very good service. The food arrived shortly after. It was hot, fresh, well presented and very tasty. The staff checked on us again and apologised. Despite the long wait, I would definitely return. It was clearly an error that was quickly noticed, rectified and the food was good. Well done Coppa for sorting things out."
"My boyfriend managed to book an igloo to celebrate our anniversary. The location was beautiful even tho they don’t tell you when you book that you will be sharing the igloo with other people and tables which makes it impossible to have a romantic/private dinner. The starters were amazing and then we got a plate of pasta which was alright but nothing special. The stuff was nice and polite. It was a beautiful location and so grateful to have experience it but I would probably never go back again."
"Excellent pizza, very tasty and filling. I went here whilst visiting and the restaurant is very nice. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and I will return if I’m in the area."
"I walked past this place and my pizza Spider sense told me I had to visit. I actually was going to another pizza spot to review. It was Saturday night but not busy at all. I got a table and the place is dog and disabled friendly. My server recommnend the seafood pizza which I took. It came quickly and was really really tasty. I was not asked if I wanted pepper or parmesan on it but that's fine. I had a beer and then had the left overs to take away, which was no issue. Overall this is a great spot that is very reasonably priced. The service is great and the location is easy to get to."
"Lovely warm place ..... food is nice, nothing WOW .... but really nice, desserts a bit too sweet, lovely service and very friendly staff. We ordered the aubergine parmigiana, seafood aranchini, meatballs, rustico pizza and a pepperoni .... and for dessert, an espresso and chocolate coconut slice"
