"Sorry long post warning!! I have been a Sons of Ink cilent for a few years now that I feel a review is way overdue. I have a total of 9 tattoos all done by artists at Sons of Ink. I have been tattooed by 4 artists (Ammar, Cerys, Vicky and Ellen) all of which are real down to earth people who generally care about their clients and will spend as much time as needed to get your tattoo how you want it. I first visited in 2020 seeking help with a cover up on my calf, Ammar absolutely smashed the job and I love the piece he's created, so much that I recently had a very similar style to match on my other calf, both experiences were relaxed and Ammar checked in on me regularly throughout the sessions. Never felt pressured, rushed or uncomfortable. If you're seeking black and grey realism I would 100% recommend Ammar. I have had 4 tattoos across 6 sessions with Cerys, she's created some beautiful mirrored arm pieces in a good/evil, light/dark style and I am in love with them, I can't wait to continue the pieces in April. Cerys always ensures I'm comfortable in the chair and checks up on me throughout the session, she also offers to grab me snacks when she goes to the shop, she's always available to message and replies quickly without judging my silly requests. I have had 2 tattoos by Vicky, my first colour tattoos and they're amazing, we had a consultation but I still couldn't decide on things so she was avaliable to message on Instagram and spend some more time on colour palettes for me. Very happy with my colour tattoos and can't wait to add to the collection. I've also had a tattoo by Ellen, a dancing skeleton on my arm, which matching with my partner who Ellen tattooed on the same day. She put great care into these tattoos and ensuring they're positioned in the best place. Ellen has a real upbeat vibe about her that it's impossible to feel uncomfortable in the chair as you're always having such a great time. I have recommend Sons of Ink to my family and friends and I can confidently say they've all happy with their tattoos and have been returning customers. The comforting atmosphere of Sons of Ink makes it near impossible not to become a regular. If you're seeking a tattoo, this is the place for you."
