"Went into this shop on the off chance they could help us. We were on holiday and visited Modbury as a nearby town. After arriving, much to our dismay, we had parked up with our dog's lead, but no collar. Went in to this small charity shop, and asked if they had any dog collars. The two very lovely ladies in there could not have been any more helpful. Not only did they instantly find what we needed for our beloved pooch, they also instantly provided fresh water for her. I then had a quick 'mooch', and found a beautiful candle holder and several dvd's at super cheap prices, can only say, what an amazing shop, full of amazing bargains, and the most lovely helpful ladies. Wonderful experience. Please help this cause."

"I popped into this shop last week as i often do when i am in Modbury, i bought a couple of items one of which being a mans suit in which i asked the assistant her name being" Janet " i think if i could have the coat hanger to which she replied (no) very sternly , i asked why not and she said because she couldn't because it was a charity shop??????? which by the way i understand even though she must of thought she was talking to a teenager and not a 51 year old woman, so being a charity shop i asked if i could buy it as i didn't want the suit to get creased as i had just paid £25.00 for this item in a CHARITY SHOP... she once again replied NO , i have never in all my life known a charity to refuse any money, i have to say the lady in this particular shop needs to get some manners and stop having a bad attitude towards the public who try to help charity's . Disgraceful! sadly to say i wont be returning as she was the rudest lady who i have come across and has put me of from shopping in there ever again ."
