Reviews
"I was truly hoping my complaint to Blooming Scents could have been resolved amicably but sadly now more than four weeks since receipt of the flowers I have still not heard back from the company. I feel I have been left with no option but to post a review to warn others of the poor service the company offers. As background information, I spoke to the owner of Blooming Scents early in the New Year 2022 to complain about the poor quality of the flowers I received prior to Christmas. The owner said this was extremely unusual and he would discuss the matter with his staff and call me back. The bouquet of flowers I ordered on line from Blooming Scents was for a friend as a Christmas present. I ordered this particular bouquet as it contained large red and white carnations, my friend’s favourite flower. The bouquet could be ordered in three different sizes and I opted for the middle one to ensure there were lots of carnations. The bouquet was shown in a red vase and in the description of the bouquet reference was made to the vase. The bouquet arrived with no vase. When speaking to the owner in the New Year he said they did not provide vases so I do not understand why one was even mentioned in the description – the description needs rewording. But more importantly the bouquet looked nothing like the photo shown on Blooming Scents website. Of course, I appreciate flowers at this time of year may be difficult to obtain and are expensive, but to receive a bouquet mainly made up of chrysanthemums with a few carnations included was extremely disappointing, particularly at the cost of £51 plus postage. The chrysanthemums were in a poor state and squashed which I suppose was down to the poor packaging. If Blooming Scents supply of flowers was low, why did they not contact me to discuss the matter and give me the option to cancel the order. I was unable to give the bouquet to my friend and had to purchase another bouquet (without carnations) from a local florist. If you use this company, I hope your experience is better than mine and the flowers you receive are worth the money."
