"Great seawater pool with shallow to deep end & monitored by onsight life guards until 6pm. Changing cubicles located on left side of pool make changing easy, as do showers at far end to rinse off any seawater. Deck chairs available for hire. Car park & toilets located just up from pool. Pool located east of harbour & has spectacular views. Whilst Shoalstone Pool is currently free, donations are encouraged (£2.50 per swim /£6 per family payable by scanning code on notice board). Café located at far end of pool selling hot/cold drinks, snacks & light meals."
"Unfortunately only stayed in the water for 10mins as it was full of Jellyfish! Not sure if always like this as no-one else has mentioned and I know it is obviously sea water so loads of seaweed (which is okay) and Jellyfish I guess is normal too, just didn't expect it so had to jump out! A little boy was going round with a net collecting them and caught about 20 in less than 2hrs! I'm told they can't hurt you but still think people should be aware nonetheless. Regardless of this though we did have a lovely day in the beautiful weather sunbathing on the sun loungers you can rent for £4 right next to the sea and beautiful scenery. Just a note, if you're not a fan of children maybe go during school hours or early in the morning as after about 3 / 4 o'clock, a load of teenagers appeared jumping and splashing, screaming and shouting and changed the vibe from relaxing to quite hectic."
"Great place for a swim and relax. Large pool with deep end. Also showers to rinse off. Even with a voluntary donation via website still great value."
"Reopened on Monday the 19th of July, and has been well used by the public since. It’s a great swimming pool in a great location. We went there on the Monday at 5am to take photographs of the sunrise and the swimming pool before the visitors arrive."
"Public funded open aired sea pool just past Brixham harbour. Family orientated and life guards onsite through the summer season. This place is absolutely brilliant, it has it all for a great day out. Parking is cheap but car part small. Plenty of space around the pool itself or behind the pool up the stairs on the grass. Couple of shops, changing rooms and the pool water not freezing unlike the sea, a open shower to wash of the sea water is by the pool. If you do go please leave a couple of quid to keep this pool going year to year as it really is a fab place for a lovely day out."
