"Had major problems with car dealership (Arnold Clark need I say more) northridge had zero interest in helping fight my case. Zero customer support. Just wanted their money back. Shambles of a company, steer clear of them."

"Absolute shambles of a company. A family member of mine phoned them to say that they had paid half their finance back but was no longer in a position to pay due to loss of job and asked them to take the car back (which is an option to hand back the car once half of the agreement is paid). They told them that they could just try sell the car privately in order to get money to pay the outstanding balance. With people out of jobs no one wants to pay garage prices for private sales and we buy any car wasn’t offering enough either. But the finance company refused point blank to take back the car and kept advising to sell privately to get money for the settlement figure."

"To counter a lot of the very negative reviews left... This is my first time financing a car and as such I had a few questions. I phoned Northridge and got through to a very helpful girl in customer services after about 2 rings. She was able to answer my questions and help me with changing my direct debit date, all over the phone."

"All in my opinion.... Total lack of customer support in rejecting a faulty car. Avoid complying with statutory legislation. Avoid taking calls if they can - queues are ridiculous - often 1 hour plus. They appoint a Customer Communication Advisor to a case but won't allow you to speak to that person directly. The representatives that I have got through to are all junior in standing, unable to answer pretty much anything of any relevance, and seem to have been trained more in being obstructive, and even rude, more than anything else. I'd pay three times as much to avoid this company in the future and wish I'd checked their online reviews before agreeing to deal with them."

"Will take funds without your knowledge Yesterday my bank account was showing Northridge had taken out £5135.35 from my account, without my knowledge. After speaking with an incredibly rude young lady on the phone, I realised they had sent a letter to my old address outlining the end of my PCP and detailing the settlement figure which I obviously never received. So, they send one letter, if you don't receive it or respond to it they will just take the money out of your account without a phone call, or additional letter. My husband was working away, so I had no funds whatsoever for 24 hours, no money to put fuel in my car and was terrified I was going to break down on the motorway with my baby in the car. So poor and the customer service was terrible, she just kept saying it was in my agreement (which I had signed 4 years ago) my bank withdrew the payment but it wasn't until the next day I had any money. Really worrying experience and they just didn't care in the slightest."
