"My friend bought me a hand tied bouquet 4 days ago (Sat) from Panache and travelled an hour to my home, with them soaking in water soaked kitchen roll for the journey. By Saturday evening the hydrangeas had wilted and died, and on Sunday morning the eucalyptus had wilted. I re-trimmed them and placed in fresh water in a clean vase but they continued to wilt and die one after the other until now (Weds) only the greenery is still alive. I called and eventually managed to speak to the owner, Anna, just now and from the outset she was incredibly defensive and abrupt. She was talking over me trying to say it was my friend’s fault for bringing them on an hour’s journey to my home. When I said I’ve had flowers from friends and flowers for many years and none have died despite any length of journey! She then said for me to bring them in to inspect so I explained I live in Warks but I could send time stamped photos documenting their incredibly swift demise. She cut over me (again) & said “I don’t accept photos, never have done never will do”. I’ve attached the photos here, date stamped at Saturday evening, a couple of hours after receiving them Throughout the conversation she was hostile, quite verbally intimidating (she even called me obnoxious at one stage because I asked her to stop interrupting me!) and generally not speaking to me in an understanding or apologetic way. Not at all the way a small business owner should be treating valuable customers especially in the current climate. We used to live 2 roads away from this shop and knew it had quite a poor reputation for quality and customer service but I have to say I was completely shocked, and am still upset, by the horrid way the conversation went. Please please think twice before using this shop - overpriced and poor quality goods coupled with breathtaking arrogance and hostility from the owner do not make a good business model!"
