"Nan has done an amazing job with the flowers at our wedding. My bouquet was really beautiful, exactly as I wished it to be. The arrangements at the church were beautiful as well and we could reuse them all at the restaurant. Nan was such a great person to be around and also helped us a lot throughout the day."

"Unfortunately logistics did not go as planned on the wedding day. Nan was not able to attend herself, as arranged. On the wedding day she told me that someone else would complete the delivery and set up. However, the flowers were delivered and just left at the hotel, and no one from Born to be a Florist completed the set up. I had to leave my hair and make up appointment to show the hotel staff where the different flower arrangements were meant to be placed. Whilst I don’t put too much importance on these things (and it had no impact on the enjoyment of our wedding), I know that Nan takes pride in the personal service that she would normally provide on the wedding day. It was a shame that I didn’t even know how to hold my bouquet properly! Speaking to Nan after the wedding, she was very apologetic and agreed that this was not the service we had paid for. She offered a partial refund for set up and delivery costs, which I appreciated. However 5 months on, we have not received the refund despite numerous attempts to make contact. This is disappointing since the refund was offered to us, not asked for. This is the only reason that I’m not giving five stars; I avoided posting a review until now in the hope that this final aspect would be resolved. Everything else about our experience with Born to be a Florist was lovely. It was a pleasure meeting Nan before the wedding and her expertise was invaluable for choosing our wedding flowers. She listened to our basic ideas and created beautiful and elegant arrangements that exactly suited us."

"Nan did a good job with my wedding flowers. Whilst the first bunch of flowers delivered the day before my wedding did not turn out as I had expected (for example some flower were not open and there were dry and wilting leaves and ends), Nan recognised that I was not happy with this and quickly rectified the situation. She delivered the new flowers the next day and in the end I had gorgeous flowers for the day."

"Nan was great. My wedding was a month away in the Lake District and she reassured me that she could provide fresh flowers that would last in the car up to the lakes as I was unable to find a florist at such late notice. She made sure there was enough water and guided me through any issues if they wilted slightly. Turned out there were no problems anyway (just my pre-wedding anxiety) and her guidance definitely helped keep them in good condition. Very happy with the colour combinations and how pretty they looked. Nan is super friendly and goes out of her way to help. Will definitely recommend her services again!
