"Lovely walk with my dog and camera"
"This is a lovely little reserve if you like to go for a gentle short stroll. Great for dog walking too you just need to make sure your doggie is under control at all times as there are lots of people and doggies about. The woodlandy area is all fenced off so you cannot walk there unfortunately. The whole park is fenced off so it's brilliant if you have wondering doggies. The car park is free which is an added bonus. Once you go out of the park if you take the long route have a look to your left and you'll see a footpath that leads to fields. This is brilliant if you want to extend your walk. We didn't see any livestock anywhere but please be vigilant on your trip as there might be some around at different times of the year. Luckily you can see all the fields. ☺️"
"Always lovely to come here to feed the ducks, although disappointing to see people using bread still. Please remember, bread can be detrimental to wild fowl as it fills their stomachs but has no nutritional value. Try to opt for wild bird seed or fat balls instead. The park is a fair size and in places surrounded by woodland, which gives a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. There are a lot of instances of dog poop being left behind so watch where you step. A great place to come for a walk while also observing social distancing, as there is ample space."
"Our last walk for 2018. At the heart of the English coal mining area, a nice and easy circular track for a Winter walk, with couple of good spots, especially the nearby forest and the Moorgreen reservoir."
