Reviews of Colwick Country Park
"Feeling that the air is very very fresh. You can feed the ducks in the pond, and you can walk through the forest route, sometimes the ducks will follow you as you go away as well! But it is just too long way from London. It's at least a hundred miles away which takes at least four and a half hours long! There is a park around. It is not big but nor small. I'm quite happy that some of the ducks can fly and catch the breads, some of them are enormous and some of them are small and cute."
"An oasis of calm on the outskirts of Nottingham. Lovely lake and country walks, set next to the River Trent. Plenty of bird life and wildlife including black swans , kingfisher and woodpeckers to name but a few. Also though kids play park, free car park, toilets, visitor hut, ice creams and wide open spaces, so plenty for family and nature lovers to enjoy."
"Nice place for taking all your family out. 2 playgrounds, football pitches, basketball. In summer season you can rent a boat, do climbing, archery for kids. Good place to walk your dog."
"Nice walk on a sunny day, lovely scenery, nice views, well kept and maintained. Public toilets available, can buy drinks ice creams and even food to feed the ducks from near the car park."
