"Staff in food hall are extremely rude and unhelpful. Prefer to shop at Waitrose where staff are always helpful. M an S need to properly train their staff."
"Most unhelpful and ambivale staffI've ever encountered. Locked the door to the car park and, despite 7 of them milling around, nor one offered to open the doors⁰⁰0⁰when giving me directing to the10 minute detour."
"I entered the store at 4.20pm and asked an employee what time the store closes which he told me 4.30pm so I rushed around to buy some desserts for dinner I was invited to. I quickly chose up a few desserts as I was conscious about the time I'd already chosen my deserts and was about to go to the till. All of a sudden an employee looking straight at me shouted in an aggressive manner down the isle the first few things I didn't hear as I was shocked someone was shouting at me in this way, I felt very embarrassed then I started to understand what he was shouting he was telling me to get to the till and if I didn't go to the till right now I won't be able to buy my items. I then realised that this same person has spoken to me rudely before. I recall the first time when he told me I had to check out and I couldn't look around anymore so I went to check out 2 items and whilst at the till another man with a full basket asked if he could go and get milk and he calmly told him he could and not to worry about the time. I asked him why I was told something different and he responded rudely and basically told me to shut up. Both times he's been disrespectful to me infront of my 11 year old son. Leaving me extremely embarrassed and upset. This time I responded in the same manner he's treated me and he decided to say Infront of all the other shoppers that I was angry We went back and forth, he told me his age 17, and I told him I'm going to complain and he said he doesn't care hes been there for 2 years implying that he wouldn't get in trouble. He clearly is under trained and does not know how to deal with people which is supposed to be his job. A woman at the till said I was right to stand up for myself and another woman outside said she also felt upset he had spoken to her rudely. He seems like he has aggression towards women and is not suited to the job he's been employed to do. As I was leaving I saw his manager asking him to calm down which he couldn't do as she had to repeatedly ask him and put her hands up saying stop stop. I then asked her name and said I wanted to complain and although she couldn't calm her worker down she didn't seem to be helpful to me. I said as the store was closing I woul be back tomorrow to complain and he in a sarcastic way pointed to his name tag and told me his full name. I did not engage with him or respond. I've never been spoken to the way he has twice now."
"It’s absolutely ridiculous that there’s only one cash checkout till. There are about 15 self checkouts and only one accepts cash. Since when paying cash is a crime ? Why are we made to feel like we are criminals when we want to pay by cash. With ever increasing prices some of us like to budget properly so we withdraw a certain amount every month to do food shopping. But have to wait in a queue for so long while others just pay with their card and go. This is discrimination. Management should be held accountable for this discriminatory act"
"4/5 purely for the slow staff at the tills and lack of stock. I find it easier to buy everything online. Also, this review is towards the clothing section. I cannot comment the food section."
