Reviews of Holland & Barrett
"I made a click and collect order and received vitamins that would be out of date pretty shortly so I went to exchange. The short guy with the curly hair brought the wrong item and he did not know what he was doing. He couldn’t find me on the email and I insisted he checks my order numbers that I had to hand but he didn’t know what he was doing and told me to ring customer services. For what? Bizarre. I said it was such a simple thing to do, search my order number and find that I did order these from you. He then called the assistant manager named Kellie. She had zero customer service. She asked me for my email and then asked for my order number. I showed my phone and said it’s here shall I read it out, and she became aggressive and shouted “hold on, just wait!” I was confused as I didn’t rush and waited patiently. She then kissed her teeth at me which really shocked me and I just wanted to get out of there with my child as soon as I could so I let her deal with my problem and as soon as she saw that I did order and I was truthful, as I felt like I was being judged for lying, she immediately did the swap and no apologies to me at all. Instead I thanked her and left. This is about your untrained staff and so called “assistant manager”. They need to be further trained and maybe take the management role away from her as management comes with the ability to sort issues professionally and maintain a good customer service which she lacked with flying colours. I spoke to a friend about my visit and she claimed it was the same woman, Kellie, who treated her with bad attitude too. I feel intimidated by her and will not visit the store again. And I’m cancelling my monthly subscription as I want to stop shopping with a company that can’t serve its customers with manners."
"To the black man sitting behing the till, the 14th of december around 2:30 pm in Croydon Central, the way you joked with your colleague wasn't nice at all, having a childish attitude in front of the customers shouldn't be a thing. Holland and barret you should choose your staff more carefully. Overall service from the rest of the staff was good, just the guy mentioned above not professional enough."
"My client pooped in to buy a supplement I had recommended, unfortunately the staff member completely dismissed my recommendation and recommended something different. As a qualified nutritional therapist with a MSc and BSc in Nutritional therapy, I am very surprised a staff member in Holland and Barrett has the skill and knowledge to question a qualified therapist. Very unprofessional Update to response received 04/05 Thank you for your reply. Its very clear your staff even the very qualified member of staff should not question a qualified nutritional therapist's recommendation. It is very unprofessional."
"Great advice from the young man in the men's supplement section. Very helpful and his suggestion was exactly what I was looking for . Excellent service , all staff super helpful and super friendly. Thank you very much I'll be passing through again . Respect"
"Holland & Barrett is a great place to shop for vitamins. The staff know their stuff. As well as supplements, they also have a good variety of gluten free and meatless snacks like seaweed crisps and coconut bacon."
