Reviews
"The only good thing about this shop is that its the only one around for a couple of miles. Its dirty and overpriced, and the employees clearly have no sense of hygiene as they may cough all over your items as they run them through the scanner. Unless you're desperate for some seriously low quality snacks, you should steer clear"
"Good for little things, otherwise very very expensive as it only store in 2 miles radius"
"The shop owners mother first impressions felt she was a bit prejudice and a tad sneaky. I pulled up outside on my new motorcycle id just bought. I removed my crash helmet before going in although after I were walking back from getting a balance on the cash machine, right down the end of the shop with a rucksack on, she tried looking in the back of my bag sneakily! Also as I was walking back to the till where the 50-pence chocolate bars were. Even as I were leaving she started peering out the window to see if I was taking anything out of my rucksack(this is after I just paid a £140 bill from a £500 wad of notes from her ATM clearly visible!) If they think it's worth alienating customers over fear of losing some fifty pence sweetie bars well good luck with that. I'm avoiding this place preferably going to Tesco where the shop security guards are actually much less intrusive- even though they have apparently over £3000 a week avrg in goods stolen"
"been to use the post office located within this shop (Shop within walking distance of my home about 800 Meters) at least 3 times during the past few weeks and on each occasion there was noone in the shop that was able to service my needs at the post office counter to i.e.to post parcels. On the first occasion I was told by the Lady in the shop " man coming down " 10 minutes later no man appeared, I politely enquire about the whereabouts of said man, Lady made a phone call and informed me that "man gone out back in about 1 hour" this was about 10 am. I left the store and drove to Ashford High Street to post my Parcels. A week later stopped off to post a couple of parcel this time around 11 am again no one manning the Post office counter same lady in the shop, same scenario as per the previous week she makes a call and informs me "man coming down" after about 5 minutes still no man arrives I ask again is he coming down, then an Asian man standing in the shop says to me "machine broken" I ask the lady "what is the correct story please , She informs me man coming, and then she makes a call and after completion of the call she informs that machine broken, Totally bemused I left the shop and drove to another Post Office. Today I went in to post some parcels lo and behold same lady in shop no one at the Post office counter it was 0950 am. Lady make a call and informs me man coming down 5 minutes later no man I ask the lady is he coming down and I explain my previous two experiences. She makes another phone and then informs me that "man having Breakfast and tea". about 10 minutes later a man appears and says "sorry for keeping you waiting" I explain that I am not impressed with the level and standard of service provided by the store and that Having waiting for more than 10 minutes I would take my business to another shop and that I will be lodging a formal complaint relating the service stands (lack of!) his response to me " I am entitled to a meal break you know" Instead of walking to my nearest post office I now have to drive at 2 miles either to Ashford or Sunbury to post my parcels"
"Very friendly"
