"I went to this couple years ago who offered hypnotherapy and counselling. They recorded my counselling sessions which I didnt like and I wondered why they needed to do this. The women who took my counselling told me she'd discussed something with her husband about me, which breaks confidentiality, she used to constantly look at the watch during the session which made me feel uncomfortable. She also told my my ex partner didnt love me which made me feel worse about my relationship. Thats not what a counsellor is allowed to do. The CBT I felt like it was my fault that I felt the way, given my thinking patterns were ungealthy which are common to everyone. Making me feel there was something wrong with me, as my abuses had instilled in me. They failed to address that I'd grown up in an abusive environment that led me to go through an abusive relationship. And then basiclally gave me a hypnotherapy tape to make me feel more confident and left me to it. I got into another relationship not long after, which ended up being abusive too. They didn't help me at all especially as I struggled to pay for the sessions and I was asked personal questions about how I could afford to do the sessions. Very unprofessional and not in keeping with counselling practices. Avoid!!"
