"I WENT TO GLENWOOD IN THE 1980S I HAD MRS STEWART INP1 AND P2 AND MRS MCFARLAND INP3 AND MRS CLARKE P4, THEN MRS PAUL AND MRS MC CALISTER, AND FINALLY MR MITCHELL. AFTER ME MY BROTHERS WENT TOO AND MY COUSINS , MY NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND FINALLY MY 3 KIDS IT WAS AND STILL IS AN EXCELLENT SCHOOL"
"I went to Glenwood in the mid to late 1950 after graduating from John Whites in Matchett Street. I remember Mr. Harold Wilson (Grade 5), Miss McCauley (Grade 6 -the Scholarship Class). She was offer met by an Royal Air Force Officer after school. All the boys were most impressed to see an Officer in RAF uniform. Mr. David Gamble was the Head Master in John Whites and Mr Bradshaw was the HM in Glenwood. Mr.Stewart (nicknamed "Stewarty") was the Caretaker. After leaving Glenwood I went to the College of Technology (the Tech) on a Scholarship. I lived in 15 Dewey Street."
