"I have always found the receptionists very friendly and helpful. I have several health issues and have found both GP’s I have seen easy to talk to and very understanding. Sometimes a bit gruff but sometimes I need that! I always get timely reminders for any appointments I might have . Always manage to get same day appointment as long as you ring early enough. I really don’t understand some of the bad reviews on here ."
"Can never get a appointment when you want a doctor. Very poor service. Staff always sick. Just not good. I'm looking to move away from this center because they have really done nothing g to help when I am sick."
"Would give zero stars if i could. IVe had problem after problem with these guys and they are not safe to be open. ive been waiting for a heart scan since summer with the scan being sent back and forth due to doctors nt knowing what they are doing and not communicating with me. also to say they are struggling for appointments they seem to throw them away like this morning when I called and i was shouted at by the receptionist who then told me they would speak to the doctor then call me back to tell me if i have an appointment. never called me back. so i didnt think i had one, i missed the call and now i have to call back again tomorrow at 8am after two weeks of doijng this and never gettin through and being cut off. dont risk your health. go elsewhere"
"I have been there for a few years and all doctors are friendly and very supportive .their reception is very polite and patient in any argument. the building is in a good area and close to some more likely facilities. Thanks, NHS and Lukes surgery"
"I was moved over to Lukes after my doctor of 38 had decided to retire. I was then moved over to Lukes Surgery. Most of the receptionist have very little how to engage with patient or deal with their request. And seem unqualified to answer many question. The doctors seem to have very little care. Push blame on each other for not following up with requests, or following up with medical reports and leaving things unattended. They seem to just want to fob off patients. Seeing patients seems to be more of a tick Box. There seems to be no passion, no drive, or care or desire to delivery support and service. I have a monthly repeat prescription and I asked the receptionist to to remove the medication off my repeat as I don't use them anymore and to maintain just my monthly repeat. I was informed I need to book an appointment to make the change. So I'm required to wait around early hours to phone in, take up an emergency appointment, waste around 1-2hrs to see my doctor to have my prescription amended. Which a doctor can do in 30 seconds. What a joke of a Surgery. I am look elsewhere, but due to postcode it's difficult to assign up with a practice who actually has a good reputation because of being outside those postcodes."
