Reviews of Co-op Food - Hanham
"Treated like you are doing something wrong while just going in the shop poor customer service and rude staff"
"Staff wearing headsets is ridiculous and leads to poor quality customer sevice. I witnessed an elderly lady in distress after she couldnt find her points card. When found she had asked the till staff where to scan five times before the staff member woke up and told her. It is not an intuitive system and the card scanner location was not obvious. The staff member was too busy being interrupted by and listening to the voice in her headset to actually listen to the person in front of her. Ditch the tech and pay attention to your customers Co-op, you can do better. I did try to complain directly to your website, but conveniently your complaints page is blank and has no mechanism to contact you."
"Always a reliable co-op, plenty of variety of food and drinks, friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Only complaint is they stock 5-6 jar curries but they are pretty much all tikka masala!"
"To whom this may concern. The Co-op Supermarket on Hanham high street has always been a bit expensive but the reason why my partner and I shop there that's it's convenient and the staff has always been pleasent & willing to help. Over the last four weeks since Covid 19 virus came to our part of the Country. My partner has been looking after her eddly parents, our son which has learning disabilities, Austin and I. I am severely visually impaired and disabled, which means that I can't go out by myself. The Co-op Supermarket says that it cares for the community but how can that be when the Co-op Supermarket on Hanham high street has put their prices up twice in one week. For example: A tin of Princes Cured ham was firstly £2:65 a few days ago to the secondary today went up again to £3:00. And small tin mushrooms has gone to £1:00. I can understand Co-op Supermarket has to make money but price raisers twice in a week seems unfair when we have limited budget. when we got to buy shopping not only for ourselves but for son is not right and unexseptable."
"I like co-op for the selection of pizzas and bakery. This one is a little one but has a good selection. There are only two things I didn't like: I had a package of vitamins marked in the shelf 1.25£ from 5£. The cashier only applied the discount when i told him, so ok, but other customers might find the same problem. Secondly, I don't understand why they were taking all the food with discounts at 19:30 and putting it in the storage. Perhaps they could put it away later."
