"Very rude lady behind the counter 2ho has been there for years. Thinks she knows more about pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics than someone with two degrees in Biomedical science, and seems to take pleasure in arguing with customers even though she is clearly in the wrong. If it wasn't for the distance from my home I would not use the place until she is replaced by someone who has at least a modicum of customer service experience. They did have a young lad training there but I expect he couldn't stand working with her."
"Walked half a mile to get my prescription to be told i couldn't have it because the pharmacist had gone to lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour. How ridiculous! This is a seperate post to the one above. My doctor recently diagnosed me as diabetic and prescribed me pills saying i should take them asap and he was sending the prescription to the chemist right away. The following afternoon i went to the chemist only to be told they did not have my pills but they would be here the following afternoon, they werent, but again i was told they would be there the following afternoon, again they werent. So i waited for them to ring me, which they did the day after to say my prescription was ready for collection. Ten minutes later i was in the chemist only to be told the pharmacist was out and i couldn't have them till he came back. So why did they ring me to say they were ready?. If i could give them 0 out of 5 i would."
"Its lucky for them they have a contract with NHS to dish out meds cause if it were the free market they would be long gone. Give them two days for my meds take time off work come, be told they might have them tomorrow ? No precise date given nothing. This is the 3rd time with this suit of attitude , do they think people sit around all day wanna spend 1 hour of there time visting their store ? Completely off point and ye check the rest of the reviews , this place is not fit for purpose. Staff and business are living in a dream world."
"An absolute disgrace. I have an 87yr old aunt who’s had 2 strokes . She was told that her stroke tablets would be there on the Wednesday they didn’t turn up , so she rang and was told that they would be there on Thursday but didn’t turn up , she rang yet again and was told they would be there on Friday but again no show . This time they blamed the driver. Problem we had was she would go the whole bank holiday weekend without any tablets. I had to take a Saturday off work to get the tablets. As a pharmacy they are a joke . Will never go back ."
"Horribly rude staff. Had several issues with them over the years but today I had enough. Today was the 4th time I tried to pick up my elderly, high risk mum's meds that she now ran out of as they were due over a week ago yet every time I tried to pick up the order "they didn't have it". I called the GP to confirm that the prescription was approved. On the online system it also showed approved and to collect at the nominated pharmacy. They again didn't have it, when I asked why, because it shows that they do, the pharmacist starts yelling from the back, rushes to the front and with a raised voice and aggressive manner he cuts into the conversation I had with the lady in the front that we must've messed up the order or the GP doesn't work or forgot to push a button as most of them don't even work now. I tried to explain the situation but he kept cutting me off, ignored it when I tried to show him the order and that it's approved. He had a complete lack of care and compassion and was very hostile from the get go. I left devastated and belittled. As soon as I got home, I called the GP again and changed pharmacies."
