"What a wonderful place for a relaxing break. A weekend spent with friends in this beautiful cottage, idyllic views right on the river bank. Fantastic accommodation with every single little extra detail thought of, I cannot recommend this highly enough for a break with your friends or family. So much to do locally, be it messing about on the river with kayaks or SUPs, walking on the scenic South West Coast Path or enjoying the scrummy food and drink from any of the local pubs, this is definitely a must retreat location. Cannot wait to return!"

"Beautiful holiday rental. We have stayed here twice now and both times have completely surpassed our expectations. The waterfront location is ideal, we were out paddle boarding (can he hired locally) and kayaking most mornings and evenings! Close proximity to lots of lovely coastal walks, local shops and pubs. Could not fault the rental or Karen’s customer service at all. Will be returning!"

"My wife and I had an all too short break at Anchor Cottage at the end of October - despite the weather being pretty awful, it was still a really lovely place to be, in fact, it was good that the weather wasn't favourable as it meant that we got to just enjoy the peace, quiet and fantastic views from Anchor Cottage's balcony (even if that view was from the other side of the patio doors). It's a lovely place to stay - spacious and yet cosy. I like the little touches like a decent size mug for your cuppa. And if you do have good weather when you're here, there's so much beautiful coastline on your doorstep, although I think the sea is lovely whatever the weather so get out and enjoy it anyway!"

"We've just spent a wonderful relaxing weekend at Anchor Cottage. It's location by the creek is great for kayaking and any kind of messing about on the river. It's also perfect for enjoying the beautiful views and peace and quiet. The cottage is really well appointed with great attention to detail throughout. It's sunny, spacious and very comfortable. Just a short walk will get you to the coast path and beaches, Stoke beach and Revelstoke Drive are lovely and well worth visiting. Thank you so much for a much needed happy family get away during these strange times!"
