"Errrm this one may be one to avoid. Owners not very accommodating if circumstances are such that you may need to cancel at late notice. Not even an offer of paying over and above to be able to change dates especially when there are plenty of vacancies in Jan Feb and March was not enough for this owner to decide to take the whole of the payment...."

"Proposed to my darling fiancée here. Lovely setting as we were lucky with the weather on the first night. That being said when the wind picked up on the other nights it was almost impossible to be outside, the hot tub was well put and we'd otherwise use a hot tub in the middle of a snowstorm. Considered using climbing ropes to tie in before getting in, but turned out to be impractical. Can't fault the edge for the weather though, but worth remembering. Inside was lovely to hang out in, but smaller than it seems in pictures. We found it cozy but being serial overpackers we struggled to find space for everything and we're tripping over everything the whole time. Again that's a bit on us, but if one were staying for a week anybody would struggle I think. The steps down are definitely pretty precarious even for the (reasonably) fit and healthy (again our over packing got us there). Also I've never seen so many bloody cushions in my life! It's like they're multiplying in there! A few less would have made the space a bit more usable and probably more comfortable too! There was a skip where our car parking space should have been. Had we been able to park there it would have been a lot easier to get unpacked and inside. Obviously these things happen but it would have been helpful to have been warned in advance. Oh and there was mention of a bbq but we never found it, then again the weather wouldn't have been suitable for it anyway, but it'd be nice to know it was available given it was on the house guide. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would consider it again. The views were unparalleled. However, for the price I would have expected no issues at all really and a tiny bit more perfection."
