"Perfectly reasonable and quiet. Clean facilities and bathrooms. Secure site. Did have issues getting into the park. No one on site, website kept having issues. Finally was able to make a reservation but code to get in didn’t work for quite some time. Finally was able to get in. Stayed a single night. Plenty of space."
"There is now a street food van as well. Cafe has been renovated with more seating. As popular with families and dog walkers as ever"
"Lovely site. Smooth tarmac roadway and pitches with grass at the side. Electricity and water tap with drain on every pitch. Security gate with codepad entry. Clean, modern toilets with codepad entry. Convenient for the city, ferry terminals, motorways etc. This was our second stay here and we shall return!"
"Great place for the family, playpark for kids cafe on site with good choice though slightly expensive, good toilet facilities great area for picnics and family fun with cycle paths and access to the shoreline also some weekends free entertainment provided."
"The site was very clean. No staff around that I could see to ask questions about facilities or buses etc. Cafe staff were friendly. Toilets and showers clean, large shower space with no need for coins which was really convenient. Liked the code entry for security. However you need to sort out the noise from the road. I had to sleep with ear plugs. Constant traffic only dies off around 1am and picks up again at 5am. If you're a light sleeper I dont recommend. A noise cancelling fence behind the site could really help. The bins were hard to access too and couldnt seperate waste either. Hard pitch was very small and cramped(we had MH3) into a corner as there was a caravan on the other side too. Park beside was nice, playground was good size and clean. Bus stop right outside handy to get the bus into city centre. Grand for a nights stay at a push but would not holiday here purely due to the noise and the fact theres nothing near by to walk to"
