Reviews of Dream Apartments St Thomas Hall
"The apartment was dirty and the bed sheets were not changed, I could see hairs on the pillows and the sheet. The kitchen was filthy, my feet were sticking to the floor. They could clean the space better, the furniture is old and not hot water for hours, you have to turn on the boiler, that no one said anything about and wait for more than 3h to have a hot shower."
"Apartment dreary everything either dark grey or black. Also could do with deep clean. Carpets grubby, bathroom mould in shower area and shower door fell off when moved. Good bus service imto city centre opposite entrance Also 10 min walk to Botanical Gardens and Ulster Museum."
"Terrible experience. Called number given to us to obtain access code to get the keys but number was not going through. The apartments allocated to us were not clean. Facilities lacked maintenance, had multiple damages. Staff were very difficult to reach. We had to leave the first apartment which was very dirty as it impossible to stay there. It was after 9pm before we were allocated another apartment. Also dirty with multiple damages throughout. We would have gone in search of another apartment but my little one was very tired having travelled most of the day. Staff often passed us around and didn't follow through their promises of attending to the issues we highlighted. The building had no lifts. Difficult if you have heavy items or have any condition that affects your mobility. On reflection, we should have gone in search of alternative accommodation. Overall, I don't recommend Dream Apartments ."
"0 stars If possible STAY WELL CLEAR OF DREAM APARTMENTS ANYWHERE U TRAVEL!!!! It would be advised for anyone thinking of booking these apartments, to stop and think again. All these other bad reviews are not wrong. Myself and my son booked an over night stay in the penthouse, it took over 2 hours to try and get someone to answer the phone. When they eventually called me back they said they had a family wanting two rooms and would we swap for a 1 room with a double bed. By the time we arrived at the apartments and still we could not gain any access it took another half hour until they eventually contacted us. I told them that 1 one double bed would not suit myself and my 29yo son. Which they replied “well your penthouse has already been occupied”. We were left in Belfast with a poor choice which did not suit our need and requirements and just left with no where to stay. Needless to say we just left and headed home. No stay trip ruined and lost money for nothing. I’m am waiting to find out if we will be offered a refund but I don’t hold out much hope. DO NOT LET THE CHEAPER PRICE OF THIS PLACE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BOOK THESE APARTMENTS !!! After all we paid £120 and received no apartment and just left stranded in the street outside. 1 star for this place is generous and the owner wants to stay of Instagram rolling about in his chauffeur driver car giving business advice to the world on how to make money. Yeah buddy rob people blind ! Stay well Clear !"
"Absolutely appalling experience. First I received an email with instructions for what to do when we arrived. We had to call them 1 hour before check in which would be 3pm. Couldn’t get an answer, after trying several times we still couldn’t get an answer. We then had to ring the agency whom we booked through (Booking.com), which they couldn’t get an answer either. We eventually got a text back saying we need to call a different number as to the one I had been given in the previous email. We got through to a woman on reception, who all I can say, definitely needs to work on her customer service skills, she gave us the codes so we could actually access the property. This was at 7pm. When we arrived at the apartment, it was filthy, there was crumbs all over the table, hairs in the bed, toilet and shower, chewing gum and an ear bud on the floor and splashed food still on the cooker. It was very clear the apartment hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people who had stayed there. We also had booked an apartment for 3 people, there was one double bed and a sofa bed however there was no bedding for the sofa bed. the sofa bed itself was disgusting, covered in stains and the mattress was appalling dirty. when we contacted Booking.com, they were unable to contact the property owners to get the property cleaned for us. We managed to find another apartment down the road which was immaculate as there was no way we were staying there. I would highly suggest you don’t stay here for your own good and health."
