"In store staff were wonderful. Unfortunately let down by the warehouse team and customer service department. Ordered a sofa with a 3 week wait. Upon delivery they had somehow managed to pick the same half of the sofa twice meaning we were left with only half a sofa. Delivery guys were apologetic but alluded this wasn’t the first time today warehouse had messed up. Called customer services who didn’t seem A) surprised or B) embarrassed by their mistake, instead choosing to come up with poor excuses and explain we’d have a 3 week wait for the order half. When requested to speak to her manager to escalate the complaint, she replied ‘they’d only say the same’ and wouldn’t put us through. We chased again next day and still met with pathetic excuses as to why it would take now 2 weeks to deliver the other half from storage. Eventually got offered £99 refund but they lacked the ability to problem solve, when I explained it wasn’t about the money and why not use the £99 to get a carrier to deliver me the other half so I’m not left inconvenienced for 2 weeks after selling my old sofa ready for the new one they just came up with more excuses. Incompetence and inability to problem solve has meant we won’t use Oakland furniture again."

"Ordered a bed, paid for premium delivery, cancelled their end twice. Was told on the phone it will be here at such at time which came and passed. Contacted them again to be told it would be another two weeks for delivery. Absolutely abysmal. Lies all the way with these guys. Cancelled order went to a more professional place which doesn't lie to their customer. Avoid this place."
