""Due to high call volumes we cannot deal with your call" - This should be their website heading. I have tried to get my daughter in to see the GP for the last 2 weeks, when I went to the surgery in person I was told only appointments via the phone can be made. I was told to ring at 8am when they open - The second you call (at 8am, 9am, 10am, 2pm etc) all you get is "due to high call volumes we cannot deal with your call". Its a sign of just how broken the NHS is! That being said my GP is located in Burton Joyce and whilst it can take a while to get a GP appointment I at least can speak to someone and get a date! So this place I feel could do things a bit better"
"They never pick up the phone so you have to go in person and now they won't even let you book an appointment with a doctor in person, even if it's weeks in advance. They just fob you off with "The doctor will call you back" but he never does. This is what happens when you cut NHS funding. Useless. Now we have to go private because the NHS we pay taxes for is absolutely hopeless. And now the staff are becoming rude and snappy, probably because they have to deal with angry patients all day."
"I called the doctors at 4pm, position 1 in the queue and through to a receptionist within minutes - who was friendly empathetic and helpful, she arranged for me to receive a call back from the doctor which I had within 20 minutes of putting the phone down. I was given an appointment within 30 minutes of my call with the doctor. Completely faultless service we are so lucky to get this for free! Thank you to all the lovely and caring staff that have helped me today, and thank you for your hard work!"

"If I could 0 stars I honestly would. You need an appointment and your told to ring at 8am. I then ring at 8am and I get told due to a high volume of calls they can't take my call? Once I do eventually get through which is usually well after 9am there are no appointments available!! I have never known or such a poor GP surgery. I think the worst part of all has to be once you actually get to see the Dr is that they are more bothered about rushing you back out of the door. No real person centred care towards the patient. Genuinely feel I need to move surgery's as no body else I know has these issues."
