"I booked a2b for a pick up in Birmingham at 2.30 in the morn fare was reasonable and they were there dead on tin spot on for punctuality driver was great I shall be using them again"
"Called for a cab and explained there would be two drops. taxi arrived quite quickly and we asked if we could we could make one more drop...so 3 drops in total, all en route and no major detours. The metre was running the whole time. I was the last drop. The metre said £8.20 but the driver said I had to pay £15!!! He said it was because he added more drops....but the metre was on THE WHOLE TIME so surely that accounted for the time and distance driven. To make me pay ALMOST DOUBLE is a DISGRACE. I'm making a complaint to trading standards......avoid RIP off taxi drivers at all cost. I bet he pocketed the extra he charged me."
"Disappointed with service. Booked for airport run to manchester. They were 20 mins late. Had 3 messages telling us 3 different cars were on the way. Turned up in a not so nice big van. On the way back had to make 3 calls to find out where he was. The car was in a poor condition and dirty inside. The driver didnt know what to do so didnt pay for the carpark. I HAD TO PAY ON MY CARD FOR THE CAR PARK. No offer to reimburse. Paid what i thought was a fair price but have had better for the same price with better cars and definately better service."
"Booked through Minicabit for a trip on 16th March. Driver turned up 20+ mins late, was very helpful and completely unapologetic about being so late. Now, I expressed my frustration to Minicabit directly and would have left it at that. However, the subsequent insulting response I received from the taxi company, has inspired me to write this public review, as I feel the 5* rating the company has on here is completely misleading and not reflective of the service I received. Now, first let me preface my sequence of events below, with the fact that I recently received a message from Muddasar on behalf of the taxi company in response to my Minicabit complaint. Not only was Muddasar's reply unapologetic, but insinuated my unsatisfactory experience was completely my fault, stating that the driver turned up on time, rang me, couldn't find me and that I therefore was the reason we set off late. So allow me to share my experience of how this played out (bearing in mind my booking was for 17:30)... The initial call that received was at 17:28 - the one in which the company claimed was the call to let me know he had arrived - was not to tell me that he was there, but rather to tell me that he was running 10mins late. I expressed my frustration with situation (especially given temperatures in the UK were hovering near freezing, and it meant me standing in the cold for that time), and then the line cut out because we lost signal. I then called the main taxi station at 17:40 because the driver had still not arrived, and I could not get through to the driver. They apologized that he was late and assured me he'd be there in 5mins. He didn’t end up turning up for another ~10mins (i.e. gone 17:50). I knew exactly where he was because I was sent a tracking link that allowed me to see his whereabouts. Therefore, I knew exactly when he'd be pulling up to the station, and made sure to be waiting at the foot of the road leading up to the train station. So for the company to then claim he was on time and insinuate the reason for my terrible experience was completely my fault is not only unsatisfactory customer service, but downright insulting. Needless to say, I would never use this company again. In fact, I question why I'm even allowing A2B Taxis Cannock to waste any more of my time in me writing this review. However, if it saves just one other consumer from having the dreadful experience I received, then I guess it will have been worth it."
