"Why didn't I give a 5 star ⭐ because I believe giving 5 stars breeds complacency there's always room for improvement not this particular store but the one on Carlton road as tendency to be a bit scruffy old stock fruit and veg not taken away spillages not cleaned up properly I put this down to lack of staff in this store in particular there's never enough tills open and sometimes know one in attendance on the self-service tills frustrating when buying wine's and spirit's I ask myself is this store suffering from shop lifter's do to people being frustrated with waiting and just walking out with their goods would be a shame for this store to close for that reason because it offers good value for money"

"Needed some snacks and sandwiches. Had good selection of snacks, but not brill for sandwiches. However, the store was clean and had wide aisles so you didn't feel hemmed in."

"Nice store. It has almost everything we need in one stop. There is also a good selection of baked goods at the front. I picked up a loaf and it was still warm. It's never warm when I pick up fresh bread back home in Canada. Great prices even with the conversion from GBP to CAD. We're also in a period where grocery prices have skyrocketed but still it's lower here than Canada's grocery prices."

"I will say the best place to buy if you run on budget. Big savings. Plenty of options. You are not missing anything compared to other supermarkets and infact you gain and save a lot. Big chicken. Big meat portions. Veggies. Cakes. Sides. All for less cost. First, even i was not convinved but during the pandemic i felt this is a life saver. Go Lidl if you feel to save some quids."
