Reviews of Pensford Viaduct
"Picturesque place for a 40 minute walk with the dog/s.. beautiful viaduct and countryside. But be warned that parking can be a bit of a nightmare and I would be prepared to park a distance from the walk (parking on the road near the sports club on the other side of the village). Also, at certain times of the year there can be cattle grazing on one side of the walk in three fields."
"Lovely spot to walk the dog, take the kids into the countryside, have a picnic, or a pint in the pub. We walked to Stanton drew, nothing to harsh, had a some food by the stone circle and headed back. The walk has some lovely river spots to relax and let the world trickle by..."
"Hard to keep the ugly house and cars nearby out of photos but the view's great in person. Lovely though small woods to walk around, too."
"Really nice area. Walked from Stanton Drew to Pensford and back. The viaduct makes a real statement. Victorian architecture at its best"
"What a impressive viaduct it's amazing how big it is from below and can only imagine the sound of the trains that would have traveled across it. It would be interesting to have seen it in use and would love to have the opportunity to some day walk across it. It's so great to get to see things like this still standing."
