"The other year they cracked the wheel locking nut then tried to say it's a weakness of the manufacturer then charged for them all to be replaced with bolts. This time they then said they couldn't get a wheel back on as claimed it had been Cross threaded at some point and a new hub would cost over £200. There is serious issues with this garage as either grossly incompetent or they are being 'creative' with their repairs. The wheel was on the car when driven in so why not when left with them? I will be pursuing this with Trading Standards and the AA and also writing to the Managing Director of Halfords to investigate works being claimed at this business. I urge all other people who have contested repairs at this place to do the same and ensure consumers are being treated with fairness and transparency."
