Reviews of The Galley Café
"Such a shame as it's the worse coffee I've had. Had to throw it out! Very milky and bitter Also very slow service, waited about 15 mins for 2 coffees to arrive. Got it in a takeaway cup which was filled to the brim and despite having a s lid splashed over me as I was slowly walking outside."
"It's great that the museum has a café, very convenient for a snack or coffee before or after the tour, since the tour can be actually quite long. Just count with a fact that coffee to go can't be taken to the museum, you need to finish whatever drink or food before entering the exposition. I liked the offer of snacks - a lot of pre-made sandwiches, which can also work as a bigger meals, depending on how much you eat for a main course of the day."
"Overpriced but my blueberry cheesecake muffin was really good. It was the only cafe open in the museum so the queue was quite long."
"A tip they should try selling food and drink that is fit for consumption. Also don’t rip people off with the pricing! £2.45 for a can of pop…FFS!"
"Over-priced, not equipped for the volumes of exhibitions, staff not trained etc. The list is endless and I’ve only been here 5 minutes. £11 for a small coffee, bottle of Fanta and ham and cheese chiabatta served on a paper plate. Advice - take a pack lunch or starve."
