Reviews of Caffè Nero
"I love Caffè Nero and I have visited this branch several occasions but I must say the last two times the place has not been clean. Tables not cleaned or cleared. We managed to get a cleared table but it was filthy. Toilets are not clean, floors in cafe dirty."
"My 'go to' when in Bangor. Good coffee and excellent service. Free slice of cake as Nero treat on last visit."
"The staff were nice enough. Asked for an extra hot hot chocolate and got a warm one. While sitting in 3 dogs came in shaking their fur everywhere which is rotten where there is food around. If it is a dog friendly place it should have a sign on the door. Dogs should not be aloud in as people could be allergic to them. There is a seating area outside where the dogs could sit. I would never go in there again"
"I have been to many cafes all over Europe, and normally I have no impression at all, but this one has just lazy and rude staff. When I came in it was not very busy at all, yet the tables were not cleaned and I sort of nudged them when I ordered "I will be sitting over THERE". No one paid attention to that, I didn't get my tea for a few minutes and just sat down and started writing. Some 20-30 minutes later I notice the table is still not being done, I did not have a tea in front of me and went back to ask about it. "Oh yeah, you never picked it up. We don't do table service here". Which, okay, fair enough. Despite every other place being friendly enough to bring you your order to the table you sit at, you decide not to do that, and I think it is okay that no one should EXPECT that, especially on busier days (but as said earlier, it is just a friendly gesture that is very normal in other places... It goes a long way). But not even give me a verbal note either "Hey, your tea is done"? Nothing. So I ask them if they can clean the table at least, or if they expect me to do that, too. "No, we don't do table service" over and over, as if cleaning the tables would be table service. None of the tables were done since I came in, in fact, I never saw any of them 2 outside their little counter area since I came in until 5 minutes to closing time. And then that comment when I walked away, something like "Jeez, what a guy. How demanding can you be?". I am very sorry, I do not go to a cafe to clean tables or stand at the counter for 5 minutes. I expect a little bit of service, a smile and no lip from the employees, which I got none of. This was the worst experience I had in a cafe anywhere so far."
"Attentive staff. Gareth leaving .but others well able to serve customers.friendly and personable . Between customer table cleaning wasn't up to usual standard.i believe someone off with COVID."
