Reviews of White Rabbit Teahouse
"We booked a baby shower for 15 of us, deposit paid, lovely conversation with the manager about it all, made clear it was cash only - not sure why as people are usually reliant on using card. We were told £20 each for afternoon tea considering we booked this weeks in advance only to be told not long before the event that the prices had increased, maybe not by much but still frustrating to be told last minute when we had already a booking in place. Lovely set out table with beautiful plates and cups, decor was nice inside. Service was not amazing, nobody checked to see if everything was running smoothly. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Out of all the adults, I am not a tea or coffee drinker so asked if I could choose an alternative. The lady said it was fine and showed me the menu. At the end when paying for the bill, I was told to pay extra for my drink. Totally baffled as we are a large group and I literally had one less drink than everyone else, it was just a different one but still got charged despite never mentioning at the time. Just thought it was inappropriate. Would I go back again? no. Which is a shame as it could be really special if given more effort by staff"
"Went here several times while living in Nottingham. Very cute place with an amazing afternoon tea. Food, pastries and tea are amazing. The experience is very local with unique cups and plates. Love this place, would definitely recommend!"
"I booked afternoon tea for myself and two friends last month and it was just lovely. Very efficient and friendly service, lovely selection of sandwiches and the most amazing cakes. Our waitress heard us wishing my friend a belated happy birthday, and added some candles to our afternoon tea...a really lovely touch. Highly recommend this small, but absolutely gorgeous, tearoom!"
"Took my granddaughter here for her first afternoon tea before she started uni. The staff was very friendly, very nice atmosphere, very clean. Food was delicious, plenty tea and coffee, could have refill which was included in price. Great value for money. Will definitely go here again when next in Nottingham."
"Had a wonderful afternoon tea here! Absolutely top quality - sandwiches were freshly made and soft, and the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back."
