"Amazing Lebanese restaurant. Kudos to the chef and the bartender. The staff are really kind, patient and professional. Would definitely visit again."
"1st time here and Kamal & Juila are very welcoming & friendly. Atmosphere is brilliant. Very large restaurant. Food is very tasty. As its in the town centre parking can be a little far would recommend the Guildhall Shopping Centre or there are a few open car parks dotted around. Thank you all for an amazing night."
"It's a gorgeous restaurant, appealing design and pretty decorated. Foods were delicious except the Falafel which were so dry and they didn't seem fresh. The only problem is the time gap between serving mezze and the main course is too much and makes you starve."
"Comptoir Libanais - Exeter Rating 4.3/5 Remember if you work for NHS you get a 25% discount I have been to this place too many times, and it never disappoints me * Mezze Platter for two - £21.95 : 8/10 * Mixed Grill - £16.50 : 9/10 * Spiced Chicken Kofta - £13.95 : 8/10 * Lamb and Halloumi burger - £13.50 : 8.5/10 * Spiced Chicken Man’ousha -£10.95 : 6/10 Starter -Mezze Platter for two A full flavour with pitta bread, hummus, cheese samboussek, quinoa tabbouleh, falafel etc., made my mouth watering even before I started eating it. The best piece of this art is the hot falafel. The mezze is sufficient enough for 5 people to share before having a heavy main Mains: Mixed Grill I tried the mixed grill as I always like a mix of chicken kofta, lamb kofta and chicken taouk, and it was full filing. The meat was cooked well with a juicy texture a full of flavour that dissolves in your mouth when you eat it. The rice did go well with the two sauces, but the salad was a bit bitter for me. I tried the other mains and found the lamb burger to be the next best thing that we ordered, where the burger was juicy, and the fries provided tasted fresh. The chicken kofta was nice too, but man’ousha was the least favourite, and the crust was slightly burned, and I didn’t feel it was value for money to order again. We also ordered a few beers; they were nice, but the fresh rose mint tea was disappointing. I wished the tea would have had a bit more minty taste! Overall the food was amazing, the ambience was fantastic and excellent customer service. Also, you can now download their app and get a £5.00 credit if you place an order through the app."
