"SCAMMERS SCAMMERS Took my Ford kuga here to have my cam belt and water pump here had the car 3 days it came back to me worse than when I took it in tapping realy bad so I took it back they then said it was injector seal so had it back again it was still the same so took it back then they said it was crankshaft sensor I had it back still the same so took it back to be told it was injectors so told them to do the job they phoned saying the dpf had gone so told them to do that aswell they phoned me 2days later telling me my turbo had gone so after spending £1,727 now they wanted £5,500 to do the work 3 weeks no car and ended up on back of recovery truck coming back to me It is now with a specialist who has stains the cambelt was put on incorrectly and the tapping was damaged valves please please avoid"

"As a disabled single mum I needed a car quickly and this was my 1st mistake in letting them know that. They have mistreated me and left me with an unreliable vehicle. There has been problem after problem. I'm well aware the issues were there before I collected the car and was told it would be fixed. Within the 1st month it had broken down several times and Emerald service centre blamed myself and my children. I am extremely disappointed in the service plan I was falsely sold by them. They said any repairs in the 1st year would be sorted. I obviously understood they didn't mean Any. My spec was "a reliable car" which this is anything but. Since I have had the car the radio has shown the car had low battery but they say I'm leaving the lights on (I'm not) I've never had this issue with previous cars so why all of a sudden now? Service centre refused to do anything until I replaced the battery at my own cost obviously, to which I did and its still the same. I come out in the mornings to find every single window down on the car, that's my children apparently, even though keys are kept secure. AA has noted a large drain on the battery and believe it be down to the existing electrical issue the car had before purchase. (I was only made aware of the electrical issues when trying to collect the car. They said it was in a garage for its electrics). Door handle even fell off in the 1st few weeks leaving me stuck with 2 children climbing through the car. Last thing Wednesbury needs is another car trade centre. Extremely disappointed and have found staff do not listen and are happy to tell you anything as long as it suits them. I looked past the dirty car with stained seats, broken parcel shelf and radio when I picked it up but I now realise this was my 1st red flag. The service centre even claimed to have put in a new radio and parcel shelf in neither of which were ever done. More fool me for trusting them but I now realise I should have had an independent mechanic take a look prior to purchasing. For now I'm stuck with the car and hoping my neighbour continues to jump start it most mornings. The whole experience has left me extremely stressed and I have given up in even trying to contact any part of emerald. Definitely not the family business they portray but more of a money making scheme. If I had it in me I'd definitely pursue legal action as many others have said but for now I hope everyone that reads my review thinks twice before purchasing a car or service plan. I really didn't want to write a review but I feel its necessary as I'm now going out to a car that is a money pit. Disappointing when you give company's your business and they take it for granted. But if you want staff that are going to be unhelpful and don't listen then this is your place. Staff at the service side are very rude and have reduced me to tears on numerous occasions to the point where I actually refused to contact them myself. Better off giving your money to larger companies because they have standards of customer service which these really don't have. Definitely would not recommend! I have updated my review. I purchased my car from house of cars and was sold a service plan for the service centre right next door, same owners I believe. There's no communication amongst staff and found it all to be very false, backed up by some previous staff and one present member of emerald staff. The response to my review has not even addressed any of the issues I've had with the car. Just read the reviews on both emeralds! Look at the unprofessional responses they give. I mean come on, mentioning an ex employees mental health...how much more evidence do you need that these guys will pass the buck! I work hard for my money and I wholly regret giving a single penny to these guys. Money's tight, go with a larger company or a private seller. As a disabled person my car is my lifeline and since having this car I haven't been able to do the things I'd normally do, just in case I get stuck with my children somewhere."
"Went in today to get my air con regassed and had fabulous customer service. Melissa was great over the phone, booked me in, explained the procedure and prices. Upon arrival, covid procedures were put in place. Car was seen to quickly and done well. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will 100% return for future services. Thank you to Melissa for amazing customer service and to the rest of the team there for great service to the car."
