"Went into Tunwalls today with my wife. What a great place. Food is excellent, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. My wife is vegetarian, loads of choice for her. I had the chicken club sandwich - it was excellent. People of Wolverhampton, get into town and support brilliant independent businesses like this. We'll be back at Tunwalls very soon."
"Great find in the heart of Wolverhampton. Forget the big coffee shops try this place . You will feel you've gone back in time with the service & the prices . Partner & her mum had scone with jam & clotted cream which where only a couple of £ each . 3 of us & bill under a tenner . Nice surroundings would definitely use again and send some one in their direction.."
"This is the third time we have eaten at Tunwalls. We found it through sheer luck when googling caf's in Wolverhampton and thank goodness! We've now had three beautiful meals here. Tonight, myself, my husband and in laws have just had the most delicious three course Christmas dinner. From the moment we stepped in from the freezing temperatures, we were warmed instantly. The family who own it are so lovely, chatty and attentive, the food was humongous portions for the very small prices you pay in comparison to other places and we've just had a wonderful evening with delicious hot food! Crackers on the table, candy canes, able to bring your own drinks. We will definitely be back and only hope more people discover this place, as it is surely the best cafe in Wolverhampton. We will be back in the new year ❤️"
"If I could rate higher than 5 stars then I certainly would! From the minute we walked in we were treated with the upmost respect which continued for the duration of our visit. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even though they were at full capacity we never once felt rushed or recieved service that went below their already impeccable standard. Whilst we waited for our food I noticed a sign that explained the rules of a Christmas game in which you had to find 4 Christmas Pudding baubles hidden around the cafe and win free drinks if completed. This became a talking point with the staff who explained into it a little further and it was absolutely delightful to see how much creativity and effort they had put into making this place as wonderful as it is. Our food arrived, presented wonderfully and piping hot. One Hunters chicken and one cheese burger, however we were trying bits of each others meals as it all just looked so delicious. The burger was so succulent and juicy, served with a caramelized onion chutney which was to die for and everything was very clearly cooked fresh and of a high food quality. Considering how stunning the food was, we found the prices extremely modest, in fact we remarked about how a similar meal would cost us nearly twice as much at other places not too far away! There was a beautiful selection of cakes and sweet treats along the counter which gave it a lovely home-ly feel. The building itself is very old and beautiful but maintained very well, the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. I think next time we're in Wolverhampton we'll book a table in advance as it's a very popular little place! 10/10, will be recommending to everyone!"
"Found this little gem on a shopping day in the city today. Excellent quality and value for money, I had the Cajun chicken and my wife had the Hunters chicken. Huge portions served freshly cooked and I can honestly say some of the best Cajun chicken I've ever eaten. 5star."
