"Stopped for lunch after a coastal walk. Good Covid-19 precautions. Extensive menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good food - Avocado salad + chips and tuna and cheese baguette complete with chips. Good flavours and prompt service. Choice of hot and cold drinks plus alcoholic ones. Prompt service by young and energetic lads. Well done!"
"Sadly our experience was not good. The service was poor, the food was over cooked. I had to ask for the table to be cleaned & for our table to be cleared afterwards before dessert. I had to ask the waitress for our previously ordered drinks which hadn't arrived who replied 'I didn't know you'd ordered drinks, I've only just come on duty,'. When I went to find someone to order dessert, no staff appeared in cafe for a while. Sad thing is, this cafe has so much potential."
"Love the position of this place and a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Covid-19 distancing in place and done well. Had a roast today and wasn't the best to be honest, a little dry for my taste but I have had coffee and cake here and other food in the past and it has been better. Perhaps just an off day as it was very busy. However, staff are always pleasant and helpful and happy, service is good and prices are reasonable. I will continue to come here but maybe not for the roast."
"Nice location, good atmosphere, sadly no longer serve sorbet so no good for milk or lactose intolerant people. UPDATE: Now shut down. Will be opening in the spring as a cafe with a lounge for the residents upstairs. Currently the general public can use the on site cafe."
"Hours are all over the place. It's always shut totally random times and hours. Can never seem to order a meal because the kitchen is either just shut or not open again for hours. Great that it is dog friendly. The cakes are amazing but if they have them in stock or not is ridiculously hit and miss. Most of the cakes they order in are freezable - why not buy more cakes and freeze them so you are not our of stock for ages!"
