"My family arranged a surprise party for me in the upstairs room at this venue. What a fabulous room, décor is beautiful, size perfect for 50 to 60 guests. Nice touch was the delicious buffet which came to the tables on cake stands. Food kept coming out so stayed fresh. Price of drinks and room very reasonable. Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend."
"Really great experience here at the Nags Head, for the opening England game of the 2023 Six Nations. We came as a large group (12), hoping to find a pub in Carlton within walking-distance of our AirBnB and this was the closest — and they were really welcoming. The people at the bar were really helpful and attentive, and they let us use a side-room for the group of us so that we wouldn’t be too noisy for the other patrons. Good selection of beers, gins, wines, and snacks. They even let us bring in some fish and chips from the nearby chippy."

"Great pub, locals are friendly music is awesome and the entertainment is very good. Lots of sport on the tvs and a pool table to have a right laugh. The bar staff are very friendly and always have a smile. Highly recommended regardless if you want a quiet drink or a good catch up. Highly recommended"
