"My daughter loves H.C.A all the staff are so supportive in all aspects of the Arts"
"Just finished the two year BTEC Extended Diploma in music at HCA and all I need to say is it was a brilliant course with great staff and a great atmosphere . Would highly recommend thus why i am now moving to study at the same college but doing music at BA Hons degree level."
"I have just read the above review and cannot believe that person is talking about the same college I went to! So much so, I thought I need to add my comments to redress the balance. I graduated from this intimate 'proper' art college in 2009 with a BA in Fine Art. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenging experience, experimenting in different workshops until I found the media I wished to work in. All the tutors were easy to access, listened to any difficulties we were experiencing and gave constructive criticism and good support. I am not saying it was an easy journey, because it wasn't, but then it isn't GCSE art! The journey was at times exceptionally difficult which then makes the graduation much more meaningful. The college has a superb library with excellent knowledgable staff who are keen to help. The shop has knowledgable staff who are graduate artists and can advise from personal experience. Outside lectures were at times second to none. The workshop technicians were extremely helpful and if there was any criticism it was that they were sometimes overworked by all the 'health and safety' stuff they also had to do! I love my time there! I have met some super students along the way, many who still remain good friends. I also miss it considerably and one day might return for an MA! Would I recommend it? Of course! There are not many stand alone Art Colleges left. Most have been gobbled up by Universities. This one is special!"
