"nice wet and windy walk, nice stretch of the river. some very nice houses on each side of the river, also, some great looking boats moored. plenty of swans when you get further up."
"Lots of swans, geese & pigeons to feed. Very relaxing view of the river. Good place to feed the birds, a few seats to sit down, parking free & a good place to bring the kids if they like feeding birds. There are a lot of birds so bring plenty of bread"
"Entry gate shut and locked again today. Not sure why. Still in use by going in and out of the single lane exit route. Tad annoying. I swore. Otherwise, always nice to sit by the water, watch the boats go by. Right opposite Asda petrol for a cold drink etc. Way too much bird poo as always with this place and this is a bit of negative. Be careful when you sit down etc. Otherwise. Does a job."
"I just love it here!!! So many happy memories! I am truly blessed to be able to call this my local area. Just a two minute walk away from my partners. You can feed the many many mute swans, Egyptian Greece, mallards and pink footed geese. There are picnic tables and lots of green areas for children to play. There is an Asda garage just across the road for supplies snacks and drinks. Just a lovely little gem of a place"
"Spent a couple of hours here this afternoon with my son who’s 3, we had a walk around then popped over the road to buy some bread before returning to feed the ducks. I have used this car park before around 6/7 years ago as a place to eat my lunch but never walked around before today. It could do with a bit of a refresh to be honest. It’s a lovely little place on the water with all the swans, ducks etc but it would benefit from a clean up and some paint. Be aware there are separate entrance and exit points to the car park from the road!"
