"Love to walk around the lake or in a forest. One of our favourite parks to visit. Whether you just want to go for a walk or do an activity with the kids, this place has it all. Massive outdoor play area with a great cafe next to the lake. Loads of options for food and drinks. Very nice and friendly staff. Parking is not free and sometimes can get very busy."
"We loved it! We went for cycling when it was rainy - and super enjoyed it. Not that much people around, lake, too many walking ways, too many people with dogs around. You can also cycle there, but not by the lake where caffe is. Just make sure you will push your bike."
"Amazing place! Have been having walks there for the last 20 years with my family and still finding new places. Very nice cafe next to the lake as well as a good playground for the little ones. Good path around the lake for wheelchairs and prams as soon as nice walks through the wooded areas. Close to pinewood Studios and incidentally been a filming location for many movies. This is brilliant place for everyone"
"Black Park is a lovely open space with lots of routes to walk….for literally hours! It’s ideal for dog walks and we love going because there is so much for the kids to explore, whether it be on the tracks, off the beaten track, in the woods or the various dens that can be found in throughout the forestry. The park also has a huge adventure playground which is great for juniors and there is also a reasonably priced cafe. Tonnes of parking and pricing is reasonable. Do pay attention to closing times of the car park - if you are late - you will get locked in!!"
"Large country park just outside the M25. Lots of parking space, though even that gets full on summer days and good weather weekends. Restaurant gets very busy at meal times so we take a picnic if we intend to stay long. Kids play area with mostly natural material equipment. Lots of paths ideal for long walks or cycling. Plenty of waterfowl to spot."
