"We contacted Poolman as an authorised supplier of our automatic pool cover as ours was inoperable. Poolman staff attended promptly and identified the issue. Their quote was significantly less than the other company we had asked to look at the problem. Poolman confirmed they could replace the broken component at a minimal cost rather than replace the entire roller, motor and pulley system. The work was carried out to an extremely high standard by polite and professional staff. We will definitely be using them for our annual cover servicing in future. Highly recommend"

"I contacted this company a few weeks ago & spoke to James the owner, he was very helpful & sent me some prices, & suggested we come down & look At the pool at their showroom. My husband & I came down a week later, spoke to someone called Jack - he showed us the pool, spoke to us about the different liners & showed us the pump system. Jack didn’t seem very knowledgeable & couldn’t answer some Of our questions about oil heating & cash payments. Never mind we thought, we’d speak to the engineer when he comes out. We left our details & it was arranged that an engineer would call us on Monday to discuss when he could come out. Monday came & went, no call - so I left it a week or so & called again. I spoke to jack again & he said ‘there was probably a problem with their database’ & that he would re-enter my details. I asked if he could just write my details down & get someone to call me? He said he’d just go & get his notepad - off he went. Then he came back & asked if I’d received any emails, so I said yes. He then put me on hold again & then came back to me to ask when I received the emails? By this point I was getting annoyed - all I wanted was for someone to call me to arrange a visit, as was agreed 2 weeks ago. He said he’d get someone to call me after lunch on Wednesday. Well that was 2 days ago & still no sign of a call! Maybe they don’t want our business, I don’t really understand why no one is getting back to me! It is bemusing as we were planning to book in a pool Installation for September!"

"Where do I start? After meeting the MD of Poolman I was assured that the installation of my new liner pool would be stress free, no issues as this was their "standard" installation and I would enjoy the experience. After nearly a year, the installation is still not complete. To make matters even worse, the products and services that they have provided have since failed and the entire wall on one side has broken away leaving the pool unusable and un safe. The stance the MD has taken is that they are NOT responsible yet it is clear via CCTV footage that their products have failed and now they expect me, the client to pay for the entire liner to be replaced and more. The list of emails, telephone calls and problems are endless which are all documented and making my review based on facts! What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience has actually been the worst 9 months of my life dealing with Poolman. My young family are now left with a broken pool to look at instead of having lots of fun which has cost over £50,000. Is this fair, no. Is this right, No, yet the MD of the company has refused to answer my emails, and correct the mess that they have caused. To add, we have had 4 different heaters due to faults, water temp not reaching levels that was promised and issues with an automatic cover that costs £17,000 alone. Although the team at Poolman are fantastic, the MD runs his business as a sales only model and customer service is non existent from the man /MD who sells the pools. Stay away is my advice! Happy to share other facts if required. Hope this helps others not make the same mistake that I did which was trusting Poolman!"
