"I shopped here last minute to buy a jewellery set for a wedding I was attending in a few days. The earrings I bought with the set were firstly overpriced for the quality of the earrings which were £30, secondly the lady told me she was going to 'dye' the earrings, however the shop coloured the earrings in with sharpies which I thought was quite odd. When I went to wear the earrings on the day of the wedding the first earring went in but the earring was thick so it was a struggle, the second earring was bent and I forced it to get into my ear after several attempts of forcing it into my ear it finally went in, moreover the back studs were not compatible with the earrings After an hour into the night I started to experience pain in my right ear hole, I took the earrings out and went home I noticed my ear was infected, I have had my ears pierced for 20 years and my ears have never had an infection. After all of this I went to the shop to explain what had happened and showed him my ear infection, he accepted no liability and tried to blame my ear infection on other things. He showed no sympathy and was very arrogant about the whole situation, customer service was appalling and the staff behind the counters were laughing. Advice: many better shops on southall broadway, please stay clear, due to hygiene reasons and the poor customer service, also items are overpriced and are of poor quality."
